Blueprint for Love 2010 Wedding Season

It has been a long while we have not posted any entries in the blog.  We sincerely apologize to our blog followers.  We have had a very fruitful summer and fall wedding seasons.  In the next few weeks, we will share our great adventures with clients in their wedding planning and coordination.

To give you guys a brief overview, we have done four weddings and one 5-year wedding anniversary celebration.  We started off with Prisca & Lionel’s classy & elegant 5-year anniversary celebration photoshoot.   Then, we had Dianna & Fabian’s fairytale themed wedding that we planned since October last year.  We also had a partial wedding planning for Karen & Edwin’s wedding in September.  We had a big bang in our late 2010 wedding season by coordinated two magnificent weddings in two days.  On the first day, we had Martina & Edmund’s simple, classy & luxurious wedding, which we had a great time working with world-renounced vendors, such as Cloud Nine Creative Inc. & Thomas Haas.  On the second day, we coordinated a 200-guest wedding for a very lovely and sweet couple – Vivian & Matthew.

We are very grateful to witness the blossoms of their authentic love stories, and to experience the fruits of our wedding planning and coordination.  We will have these featured weddings posted shortly.  So stay tuned!

Wowing Review on Blueprint for Love Wedding Planning

Often in time, we review comments and discussions from public forums on wedding planning or wedding planners.  The following comment brought to our attentions; and we are grateful to see our work and passion can really influence others.

From reena in the wedding discussion forum of loyaukee.com:

I encountered a very pleasant 1-hour complimentary initial wedding meeting that was offered by a wedding planner named Monica Tam.  She speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin as well, I believe.  Not only she is very professional and polite, she also asked me about my hobbies and passion, so that she can implement me & my fiance’s passion and personality into the wedding for personal unique touches. I really like that!

p.s* If my memory is correct, I believe she is a certified wedding planner, and so is her husband.  They work side by side together, so for the market price that 1 wedding coordinator charges out there, you’re getting a husband & wife team to work for you.  Check out www.blueprintforlove.ca, she really rocks!

WPIC – Wedding Planners Institute of Canada

Some of you may have noticed the “WPICC” in our information section of this blog or in ourwebsite.

The question a few have already asked me is “What is WPICC”?

WPICC stands for Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certifed.  Monica and I are ones of many wedding planners who have received proper training to plan weddings; and we are certified to be professional wedding planners who follows strictly to our Code of Ethics established in this one-and-only regulated Institute in Canada.

As certified wedding planners, we do not only seek the best deals for our clients and plan their dream weddings, but we also devote our resources to our clients by not receiving any kickbacks or referral fees from vendors.  Therefore, we always act for the best of our clients’ interests.  This is very different from some non-certified wedding planners who provides clients with their contracted vendors, so they can receive commissions from both the vendors and  from their clients.  In addition, we receive professional supports, attend wedding conferences, and obtain wedding ideas and resources from our experienced WPICC alumni throughout Canada.  These are essential tools to assist all certified wedding planners to stay on top of wedding trends and to get updated information about the current wedding planning industry.   Recently, there are also trainings provided by the Institute to certified wedding planners to plan destination weddings.  Therefore, there are experienced and diverse planners who can fit different engaged couples’ needs.

When you are in search of a wedding planner, be a smart bride & groom.  Do some research and look for the certified ones who can provide you with credibility, reliability and so much more!
