My husband, Gary, and I tied the knot and united as one last year on June 7, 2008. It’s been a year already and it has certainly been a very pleasant ride so far. I’ve never written anything personal on this blog, because I’d like to keep my personal life and business separate as much as possible. Today, I’d like to make an exception and showcase our wedding bits to you all. If you are thinking about getting married during summertime as well, here are a couple of color palettes that might stimulate the creative juices in you:

Turquoise Color Palette Inspired by Sarah
I had a chance to meet a wonderful bride-to-be, Sarah, who is getting married on August 15th at Fort St. John. She is such a cheerful lovely lady with well respected values, morals and amazingly strong spirituality. Although we only knew each other for less than 2 hours, I totally love this girl already. We didn’t talk much in depth about her wedding vision, wedding theme and such; however, I did know one of her main wedding color theme is turquoise.
Turquoise is such a fun color to work with: if you pair turquoise with silver and dark chocolate brown, you will create a classical timeless wedding. If you pair turquoise with pink and coral, you will create a whimsical princess wedding. If you pair turquoise with bold gem colors and black, you will create a chic and posh wedding. I don’t know whether Sarah and I will meet again or if I will get to see her wedding pictures at all, but I’ll let my imagination and creativity run wild, and create a color palette which I think is right for her.

Sarah, I sincerely wish you the best. Marriage is one of the very best parts in life, and your journey of happiness has just begun. Enjoy the ride with your hubby!
