Vivian & Matthew’s Wedding (November 13, 2010)

As wedding planners, we have to expect the unexpected, and to plan for the unplanned.  This certainly happened in our early wedding planning season.  We received a call from Matthew, Gary’s church friend, in September to inquire if we could helped their wedding planning.  We were so happy to accept this invitation.  In eight-week time, we helped them compiled their ceremony booklets, finalized their decorations in church and in the reception hall, and designed the wedding day rundown.  Gary had such a good time working with Matthew as he is a very detail-oriented person.  Monica enjoyed collaborating with Vivian as they both like pink and share similar visions on colours and decorations.

Vivian & Matthew had a traditional Chinese wedding banquet with several great touches.  First they host their banquet in a prestigious reception hall with numerous gorgeous chandeliers.  They perfected their grand entrance by using a spot light with a romantic song.  During the banquet,  Matthew’s friend, who is a magician, put Vivian & Matthew’s love story into a magic trick; and he performed another one to send his blessings to this newlywed.  The banquet was climaxed with a video footage of their wedding day highlights.

We had such a great time coordinating their wedding day, particularly their sophisticated reception.  Please check out our website to experience the joy and details of Vivian & Matthew wedding.

Prisca & Lionel 5th Anniversary Photo Shoot

An adorable couple, Prisca and Lionel, who are also our close friends, had their 5th year anniversary celebration this past July.  They asked us if we could help them looking for some quality vendors, of course we gave them our promise without hesitation.  They used orange as their main color scheme five years ago, and they want to have the same color to continue their love story.  So I suggested Prisca and Lionel to use an orange, light pink and peachy tone to create a refreshing and elegant palette. The brilliant florist whom we’ve always loved, Louisa, delivered the most spectacular flower pieces.  From bouquet to boutonnière, from hairpiece to kissing ball, everything was made to perfection. As for the make up, Prisca was looking for a clean, natural look for their daytime photo shoot.  Without a doubt, I recommend my all-time favorite make-up artist, Michelle, to her.  The makeup and hair were very nicely done; as Michelle always has her way to make sure the bride’s beauty glow naturally instead of having the make up doing all the magic.  Having this wonderful couple ready, their unbelievably cute daughters in place, gorgeous flowers all set, magnificent make up and hair completed, we need a special someone to capture all these images to create priceless memories for Prisca and Lionel, don’t we? We then found them a brilliant wedding and children couture photographer, Libby, to take on this role.  Her passion in photography and love for kids really show in the images.  Libby’s work always makes me want to remarry again (to the same guy, of course) and have my own children for her to take those crazy delicious pictures.  It’s truly heart melting!

We helped with Prisca and Lionel’s wedding planning and day of coordination five years ago.  Time literally flies by and five years have passed, we are so honored to have this opportunity to coordinate their 5th year anniversary photo shoot.  It’s been really fun working with Prisca, Lionel and all the vendors.

Blueprint for Love 2010 Wedding Season

It has been a long while we have not posted any entries in the blog.  We sincerely apologize to our blog followers.  We have had a very fruitful summer and fall wedding seasons.  In the next few weeks, we will share our great adventures with clients in their wedding planning and coordination.

To give you guys a brief overview, we have done four weddings and one 5-year wedding anniversary celebration.  We started off with Prisca & Lionel’s classy & elegant 5-year anniversary celebration photoshoot.   Then, we had Dianna & Fabian’s fairytale themed wedding that we planned since October last year.  We also had a partial wedding planning for Karen & Edwin’s wedding in September.  We had a big bang in our late 2010 wedding season by coordinated two magnificent weddings in two days.  On the first day, we had Martina & Edmund’s simple, classy & luxurious wedding, which we had a great time working with world-renounced vendors, such as Cloud Nine Creative Inc. & Thomas Haas.  On the second day, we coordinated a 200-guest wedding for a very lovely and sweet couple – Vivian & Matthew.

We are very grateful to witness the blossoms of their authentic love stories, and to experience the fruits of our wedding planning and coordination.  We will have these featured weddings posted shortly.  So stay tuned!
