Wedding Invitations

Proper wedding invitations are more essential than most couples think they are, because invitations set out the first impression to your guests.  Besides the date and time of the ceremony and reception, that tiny invitation card should also carry out information and let your guests know about the formality of your wedding, the color theme, who is hosting the party, etc.  There are endless etiquette when it comes to invitation cards; unfortunately, many couples tend to miss out on these little yet very important details.  When you don’t have a clue how to word your invitation and how the etiquette should be done, that’s when a wedding planner come in handy.

However, when the couple is speaking about the printing and design aspect of things, it is best to leave it with professional design and printing company.  For the brides and grooms who have done some research on invitation cards, you’d probably know there are many different types of printing options, such as: offset, foil stamping, digital and letterpress.  Among these options, letterpress is usually the most popular and it is being seen as the most gorgeous and luxurious of them all.

As classy and high end as the letterpress printing maybe, usually so does the price tag.  Luckily, there are printing and design companies out there who will not break your bank.  Yes, it is rare but they do exist!  Ajalon is one of the few who offers high quality printing and design with a happy handsome price.  If you can just imagine the use of handmade, tree free, and organic paper pairing up with letterpress printing that provides such crisp, great depth and beauty, it is nothing but pure perfection.

Boudoir Photo Shoot

I think most of you will agree with me when I say girls are generally more romantic than guys.  Many bride-to-be would scratch their heads and use countless hours to brainstorm a pre-wedding gift to please their hubby-to-be.  Of course, gifts such as: watch, plasma TV, golf set, GPS, iPhone, video game console are usually the typical guy presents that we girls think of.

But hold on a second here, don’t you want the gift to be unique, personal and unforgettable?  Besides the typical guy’s toys that your honey is going to change and upgrade every 3 months, what will really make his heart swoon?

YOU, of course!

Don’t you think this is the perfect time to capture your beauty and let yourself indulge in luxury, elegance, and sexiness all at once?  A tasteful boudoir photo shoot is your fantastic choice!

Photographer ( Ellen Ho) and make-up artist (Ai Nagasawa) pair up as  a dream team to ensure you will have tastefully shot dreamy images.  Don’t you worry that they will produce raunchy pictures, because it will never happen!  After Ai work her magic on your face and hair, Ellen will take high fashion magazine style images of you.  There is no need to be the next Gisele Bundchen or Kate Moss to make this happen.  This is a couture photography for real people like you and me.

For the timid ladies out there, if your heart is still deciding, I will let the pictures do the talking.  I guarantee it will blow you away!

WPIC – Wedding Planners Institute of Canada

Some of you may have noticed the “WPICC” in our information section of this blog or in ourwebsite.

The question a few have already asked me is “What is WPICC”?

WPICC stands for Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certifed.  Monica and I are ones of many wedding planners who have received proper training to plan weddings; and we are certified to be professional wedding planners who follows strictly to our Code of Ethics established in this one-and-only regulated Institute in Canada.

As certified wedding planners, we do not only seek the best deals for our clients and plan their dream weddings, but we also devote our resources to our clients by not receiving any kickbacks or referral fees from vendors.  Therefore, we always act for the best of our clients’ interests.  This is very different from some non-certified wedding planners who provides clients with their contracted vendors, so they can receive commissions from both the vendors and  from their clients.  In addition, we receive professional supports, attend wedding conferences, and obtain wedding ideas and resources from our experienced WPICC alumni throughout Canada.  These are essential tools to assist all certified wedding planners to stay on top of wedding trends and to get updated information about the current wedding planning industry.   Recently, there are also trainings provided by the Institute to certified wedding planners to plan destination weddings.  Therefore, there are experienced and diverse planners who can fit different engaged couples’ needs.

When you are in search of a wedding planner, be a smart bride & groom.  Do some research and look for the certified ones who can provide you with credibility, reliability and so much more!
