Wedding Photographer – Michelle Fung

Awhile ago, Monica and I had the privilege to meet a newly emerging talent, an all-round artist in Vancouver, Miss Michelle Kuen Suet Fung.  Michelle has been doing quite a few wedding photography shoots for clients, and she is loving it more and more by the minute.  We had a great time chatting about our passion, company goals and visions about both companies.  I can tell Michelle is really passionate and proud of what she does, because whenever she talks about her photography and artwork, her eyes light up immediately.

In March, Michelle hosted an art exhibition on her past art works at Granville Island.  What a great night to enjoy ourselves to some gorgeous artwork!  As we heard from Michelle recently, the Canada Art Bank has purchased her drawings as well.  Way to Go, Michelle!

As Michelle mentioned to us, she will have a busy summer wedding photography season.  For us, we will be eager to work with Michelle at anytime to create the most breathtaking wedding photography and the most memorable wedding blueprint for you.

Misconception of Wedding Planners

When it comes to wedding and its planning process, you think about the wedding gown, banquet venue, caterer, ceremony venue, photographer, make-up artist, hairstylist, and floral designer.  You see these as necessities for your wedding day, yet many people overlooked at the importance of hiring a wedding planner.

Wedding planner is often being seen as a luxurious item.  Most of you think only celebrities and rich people who have too much money to burn will hire certified wedding coordinators to plan their very special days.  If you are one of the many people who think that way, today is the time for you to rethink again!

Not only certified wedding coordinators can save you time by doing research, providing professional recommendations and narrowing down choices for you; we also reduce your stress level tremendously by coordinating vendors and solving all wedding related problems for you.  Most importantly and practically, the huge amount of money we can help you save is far greater than the wedding planner’s services.

Why?  Simple!  Getting married is a once in a lifetime event, vendors will be foolish to provide you with great discounts!  On the other hand, wedding planners are their VIP customers who bring them businesses frequently; therefore, we receive sweet deals and big discounts from vendors that normal people can’t get.  By helping you to save several hundreds here and couple thousands there, you can sit down and do the math, it actually costs less to hire a wedding planner than trying to plan a stressful wedding by yourself.

Gone are the days to think wedding planners are only for celebrities and royalties!  Regular couples who are living normal lives can also receive and certainly deserve such luxurious service at an affordable price.

Springtime Wedding

As I stroll along the street and breathe in the sweetness and dampness of the air, I started to notice flowers are starting to bloom.  Harsh cold winter is no longer with us, and Spring is here!

For brides who are tying the knot during Springtime, I know quite a few of you would like to use pastel colors and lots of floral decorations to reflect the season.  However, by overdoing with the amount of floral arrangements might create a messy look; and most importantly, it will most probably break your bank account.

That is why I always recommend couples to look for an authentic venue which already has paintings and/or decorations, or choose  an outdoor venue which the surrounding natural landscape suddenly becomes the backdrop for the very beautiful special day.  By doing so, not only wedding expense is being cut down tremendously, guests will also be in awe how unique your wedding is!

For girls out there who are huge fans of the pastel color tones, I’ve created a color palette just for you today.  Enjoy!
